Give your ganached cakes the distressed look by painting Liquid Magic onto your cake. Use a wide paint brush to achieve this.
EDIBLE LEAF/ FABRIC
Pour Liquid Magic into a clean cake tin. Leave to completely dry. When dry peel off from the cake tin. If the leave does not come off easily it is not completely dry. You can spray the tin with canola spray first if you want too.
You can dip or pan your chocolates to coat them in a metallic colour that sets hard, does not smudge when dry & has no taste.
TIE DYE CHOCOLATE BISCUITS
Put 2 or 3 colours of Liquid Magic into a plastic cup & dunk your chocolate coated biscuit into the Liquid Magic. Then leave to dry on a wire rack.
FLAT DRIP LOOK
Use Liquid Magic sparingly to create a flat metallic drip look on your cake. When dry the drips at the end will be flat not “bulbed” like Drippy Magic.
Liquid Magic can be poured over ganached cakes to completely cover them. I recommend 2 coats. CAKE MADE BY CHANTAL MATTHEWS
Macarons can be jazzed up with Liquid Magic. Lightly coat them with a paint brush, leave to dry & place onto your cake.
METALLIC CAKE POPS
Cake pops are now easy to create with metallic colour. Just dip them in Liquid Magic & leave to dry. I like to do 2 coats.
PAINTED CHOCOLATE SHARDS
Paint you entire chocolate piece with Liquid Magic. Once dry break into chocolate shards & place around your cake.
Thin down liquid Magic with cake decorators alcohol to use it with an airbrush machine. Cover cakes with metallic colour, stencil onto cakes with metallic's as well. Liquid Magic sets hard when dry so there is no smudging.
Desserts covered in white chocolate or candy melts can be dipped into Liquid Magic to create Christmas baubles like these.
FEATHERING INTO ROYAL ICING
Metallic feathering can be done when royal icing is wet. Pipe your Liquid Magic over your royal icing & feather the icing to create your design. This sets hard with the royal icing.
